MYCOPLASMA HYOPNEUMONIAE RESPIRATORY DISEASE

Porcine enzootic pneumonia, caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, is the leading cause of respiratory disease in today’s swine production systems. It can affect pigs of all ages, but infection and clinical disease normally occur during the finishing phase.

Symptoms include:  

  • Deep, non-productive cough
  • Fever
  • Reduction in feed intake
  • Reduction in Average Daily Gain
  • Susceptibility to other respiratory infections

Field studies prove Ingelvac MycoFLEX reduces the clinical signs, lung lesions and pneumonia associated with Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae infection.

In a blinded clinical trial, pigs vaccinated at three weeks showed significantly lower lung lesion scores compared to the challenge control group.1
